OUR STORY · FROM IDEA TO IMPACT

Healing is the story.

I Love Me More was created to give Black women something deeper than inspiration: language for what they survived, tools for what comes next and permission to choose themselves.

WHERE IT BEGAN

What changes when a woman finally chooses herself?

One question changed everything.

That question became the foundation of I Love Me More—a creator-owned, healing-centered platform built by Dr. Jamila T. Davis from lived experience, scholarship and a belief that honest storytelling can move women from pain to possibility.

The mission has remained clear through every chapter: bring difficult conversations into the light without shame, spectacle or easy answers.

One healing-centered idea. Three powerful forms.

THE BOOK

A pathway out of toxicity

I Love Me More began as an eight-step framework created by Dr. Jamila T. Davis and co-authored with Tara Wallace—helping women recognize unhealthy patterns, rebuild self-worth and choose themselves without shame.

THE PODCAST

Honest conversations begin

The written framework became an intimate podcast where lived experience replaced distant commentary and women could speak openly about relationships, motherhood, accountability and reinvention.

THE TELEVISION SERIES

The conversation
reaches further

FOX SOUL brought the message to television, expanding one healing-centered idea into two seasons and forty conversations for women ready to move from recognition toward change.

I Love Me More carries that same conviction: a woman is more than the hardest chapter of her story, and accountability can become the beginning—not the end—of her transformation.

CREATED FROM LIVED EXPERIENCE

Dr. Jamila T. Davis turned accountability into transformation.

After serving nearly a decade in federal prison, Dr. Davis transformed her experience into books, curricula, advocacy and media that help women reclaim their lives and rewrite their futures.

Her storytelling does more than start conversations—it helps move culture, community and policy.
